A Giant Space Battle | [Dark, Cinematic Synthwave for an imaginary videogame]

By electronic_tiger on January 4, 2026 3:59 pm

My first track for the 2026 edition of WeeklyBeats. A dark and dramatic, synthwave tune. A score to an open cinematic of an imaginary video game taking place in space. Which I think will be my running theme for 2026. Writing a score for that non-existing game.

Ahhh yes - can defs imagine this in a giant space game!  Talking of which... I'll be doing some Weakly Beats sountrack stuff later this year for an actual space game (co-op bridge simulator a mate is coding up a beta of at the mo).    I really like the filtered wind noise on the start of this.  Solid arps too.  Good luck with WB this year!

Incredibly scenic! Love the layers and tones/timbers you've melted together. Great track!

Excellent stuff. The big brassy synth stabs are top notch.

Epic cinematic soundscape wow well done

Perhaps the cutscene, the buildup is way too cinematic for gameplay.
It is awesome though.

i'm imagining i'm in the dungeon a la Gauntlet

Wow, what an amazingly full sound. The arp in the background adds to the tension.
